Meet Mister Waffles

Mister Waffles is a tiny therapy horse in Durham, NC who is available support and comfort to individuals, groups and communities who have experienced traumatic events, have loved ones in hospital or hospice care, members and families of our armed services and first responders, or schools.

With his calm, patient demeanor and willingness to interact with persons of all ages and abilities, Mister Waffles consistently bring smiles to the faces of everyone he meets. In our experience, time spent with a miniature horse can help children and adults with special needs as well as seniors improve their physical, emotional, and social well being.

He is also available to visit schools, at risk youth programs, literacy events and libraries to inspire young readers and “bring books to life.”

With our mobile therapeutic services we are able to visit hospitals, hospice, nursing homes, schools, and rehabilitation centers.

There is no cost for a visit - our services are part of the Mister Waffles "Mini-stry".
